Shirley MANATON Obituary

MANATON, Shirley Jean Hazel - Suddenly at her home. Loved wife of the late Pat. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Kathleen and Kevin Costello, David Stuthridge and Sheryl Manson, and the late Bob Struthridge. Also a loved aunt and great-aunt. Messages to The Manaton Family, C/-19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. At Shirley's request, a private cremation has been arranged.

Shirley and Pat always made sure my mum was ok when she was living next door to them after Dad died. When mum moved away Shirley always kept in contact with mum. Thank you for that Shirley, mum always appreciated it.

Shirley loved life, flamenco, Pat, Fred and her Farandol friends. Full of energy and kindness and only 5 ft high but a spirit that made her a giant. I will miss her sorely.
