To Shirley's family, especially Linda. Your mum was the tea lady at the old DSW. She was loved by all the staff. We enjoyed it when she brought you kids in during the school holidays. We greatly admired her devotion to Linda and loved to hear of their adventures together. She loved her children equally and was proud of all your achievements big and small. She will be greatly missed by the St Thomas congregation. I have missed seeing her and no that she is at rest.

I remember Shirley fondly from when she worked as tea attendant at TGHS.
Shirley brought a ray of sunshine to the TGHS staffroom and was always the first to dress up for St Patrick's Day (amongst other occasions). She had a fabulous sense of fun and loved a chat and a laugh but didn't stand for any nonsense. The staffroom sparkled when Shirley was about. RIP Shirley.

Thinking of your all and remembering "Shirl as the best tea lady ever". Every time I smell bleach it brings back memories of the staff kitchen and Shirl soaking her dish clothes. She was so much fun and always good for a laugh. Getting stuck in the lift was a terrible experience for her but provided us with lots of opportunities for some banter with her.
