Will be missed by the extended family and many friends
Many thanks to the staff at Charles Upham, particularly those on the 3rd floor, for all their loving care of Shirley. Messages to the family of Shirley Dent c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at Mt Somers Hall, Hoods Road, Mount Somers on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 1.00pm, followed by burial in Mt Somers Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024. She was the most incredible mother to Noel, mother-in-law to Julie, and nana to William, Katrina, and Rebecca. She was a constant source of love and support, and a great baker for all of us. She will be sorely missed and forever be in our hearts. We will celebrate her life at a memorial service in the Mt Somers Community Hall on Tuesday, May 28, at 1.00pm
