Shirley. I'm going to miss you so much, we talked for hours, I remember the day we first met. We couldn't stand each other, two strong willed women coming together and becoming good friends because of our love of dogs, you were such a support to me when my marriage had broken up in my heart forever, Sheila Exton. Shirley and Tony were great friends of Tom and Nan Findlay, our parents, and we had many years of fun and games with the corgis and other shared times. Both families sharing the a love of gardening and the growing of Xmas lillies and of course the breeding and showing of corgis.
We send our kind wishes and sympathies at Shirley's passing. Jean and Ian Craw, Barbara Adamson and families.

We were neighbours with Shirley. My husband Tony and his family grew up with Shirley. We had the pleasure of Shirley's dry humour. Shirley invited our son Ollie to help her around the home when he was 11-12 years old. She showed him the whip she would need to use on him if the job wasn't done properly, all with a twinkle in the eye and a wry smile.
We will miss your cheeky humour Shirley. May you rest easy Jacqui, Tony , Ollie, Isabella and Cruiz
