Scott MENZIES Obituary

Following a long illness, Scott passed peacefully at Parklands Hospital, Christchurch, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, aged 49 years. "His courage and positivity was an inspiration". Cherished son of Ken and Dianne, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Tracey and Carson Blackley, and much loved uncle to Isla, and Lucia. In accordance with Scott's wishes a private cremation will take place. A memorial gathering for Blenheim family and friends will be held in Blenheim at a later date. Our heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful team at Christchurch Hospital Oncology Unit, the Nurse Maude team for their dedication and finally to the Parklands Care Home staff. Messages to The Menzies Family, C/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145.

Scott was a delight to teach at MBC and it was lovely to touch base with him as he grew into adulthood. I enjoyed our chats on the phone over recent months catching up and comparing notes. He will be missed enormously.
