On November 29, 2024, at Nurse Maude Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Steve, much loved and adored mother and friend of Ange, and James and Sarah, loved grandmother of Tyler; Oliver, Isabella and Harry. Messages to the Hodgson family, c/- PO Box 187, Lyttelton 8082. Private Cremation.

I have lots of lovely memories of fun times with the Navy group, and Sandie and Steve were always part of that. Sandie was a gentle presence, always with her lovely smile. I will miss chatting with her and hearing what her family are up to. RIP beautiful lady, with your lovely sailor. Wx

To me Sandy was the perfect parent, always supporting her children and school. She was the type of person often referred to as " The Salt of the Earth ". It was a pleasure to know her and the world is a better place for her being in it.
