Rev. Samoa Tusitala:
Passed away at Christchurch Public Hospital, August 24, 2022, aged 80. Loved husband of the late Kupi Viena Mavaega. Much loved father to Peti and Lagi Toomalatai, Rev Periti and Tiana Fauolo, Cliff Mavaega, Posenai and Tanya Mavaega and Viena Mavaega. He shall be missed by his grandchildren and their families; Leo and Anneze, Antonio and Corida, Tise and Asera, Alisa and Asiata, Seto and Jess , Viena and Israel, Talia-Rae and Jake, Tone and Loto, Tiara, Olataga, Josephine, Kupi, Elijah, Isaiah, Shardaye, Joe, Noelle, Antonio Jnr, Tiali-lelei, Elohim, Tianalisa, Eli, Tui, Israel and Emi. Devoted father figure to Leilani, Mose, Trina and Peter Penita, and their families. Will be missed by his extended family and community. Much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle to his family. Family service to be held at St Paul's Trinity Pacific Church, 45 Fitzgerald Ave, Christchurch, on Wednesday, August 31 at 5.00pm. Funeral held at the same place on September 1, 2022, at 10.00am, following the final resting place at Memorial Park, Bromley.
