Ruth LEVERSEDGE Obituary

(66) Born June 19, 1959. First daughter of John and Kathleen Leversedge, Christchurch. Our Bright Spark, Ruth Julie, passed peacefully at home, after a blessing, on October 22, 2025, following a long illness. As wished for, it was a beautiful, warm, spring day, high-up on Scarborough, gazing out from a deep-pink Adirondack chair, to the sparkling, turquoise, Sumner sea.
Lush greens, birdsong, the distant hills, Pegasus Bay and a salty horizon. Raised in Christchurch and Suva, Fiji, courageous, kind, cutting-edge and always-radical Ruth, devoted her life to Education and supporting the art of Dance - in Westport, Christchurch and Wellington.
