Russell William Edward:
After a brave battle with AML on Thursday, December 17, 2020, with his family by his side. Aged 28 years. Kind and caring son of Bryce and Wendy. Adored brother of Keith and Laura. Loved step-son of Shane. The family wish to thank all the medical staff that have looked after Russell. A Celebration of Russell's life will be held at The Kaiapoi Club, 113 Raven Quay, Kaiapoi, on Monday, December 21, at 2.30pm. Russell has nominated two charities for Donations to go to and these may be made at the service. Private cremation thereafter. Messages to the Walker family C/- PO Box 35, Rangiora 7440.

Russell You were a such a great friend to Logan, there wasnt a time that i could remember you both were either out walking or chatting on the phone, you always had a smile on your face and laughing, we are blessed to have known you, you were like part of our family. Logan wont be the same without his mate, our Thoughts are with Bryce and Wendy and Family, RIP Buddy. xx

We were very sad to hear Russell has lost his battle. Russell was our Security Guard for a while after the Earthquakes and he was always a great help to our Team in the evenings, Russell will be remembered fondly.
