Passed away October 21 at Chatswood Retirement Village, much loved father of Mary Trevella and Kate O'Connell and spouses Cam and Jason, loved grandad of Henry, Tom, George, Jak, Max and Alex. He was nearly 84 years of age. Russ was always his own man, largely self-taught in a wide range of skills, and a very talented designer and builder of wooden boats and their associated engineering systems. The family would like to thank the staff from Burwood DG ward and Chatswood for providing outstanding care to Russ in his final weeks. Messages may be sent to The Turner Family, 44 Dublin St, Lyttelton 8082. In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated the day after his death, but a gathering to celebrate his life will be held at French Farm Aquatic Club on Sunday, November 30, from 1.00pm.
