Sad to hear of Russel's passing. He was my dentist right from my childhood to adulthood. I was always happy to see him and he reassured me every time that everything will be alright. Thank you Russel. Rest in deserved peace.

So very sorry to learn of Russell's (& Sandra's) passing. He was my dentist for many years until the 2011 earthquake. A lovely (& funny) man. Him & Sandra had great rapport in the surgery. It was nice to talk to him a few years ago when he was doing locum work. My thoughts are with the family

Russell (and Sandra) started as my dentist - professional and skilled. They both then became friends, having great times and many laughs - both here and in the UK when Russell worked over there.
A man of great integrity was Russell, and I know he was devastated when Sandra passed.
RIP Russell, together again with 'Sandy' - i will always value our fun times in London when we met up.

My favourite dentist ever and always so nice, although I had to change dentists when I left Christchurch 40 years ago but there was a time the dentist where I moved to couldn“t fix my problem so I made a special trip back to see Russell and he was able to help.
My condolences to his family and friends.
