Russell Vernon (Joe):
Passed away peacefully at Allen Bryant Life Care, Hokitika on May 21, 2017, in his 75th year. Deeply loved father and father-in-law of Craig and Carla, dearly loved grandad of Braithe, and Paige, loved son of the late John and Barbara, loved brother of Barbara Nathan, Kathleen Williams, Marg Knudsen, Judi Trompetter, and the late Fred, a step-father and step-grandad, a loved uncle, cousin and a friend of many. A special thank you to Coma for his friendship and devotion during Joe's final days. Messages to 10 Barkley Place, Cobden 7802. At Joe's request a private cremation has been held. The family welcome you to join them in celebrating Joe's life with a 'final drink' at the Runanga Workingmen's Club on Saturday at 5.00pm.
