August 5, 2015

To the family of Russell,
How sad I was to get an email here in USA sent from Christchurch, to hear the news of Russell. My memories of the Cox family, are of living near when I was very young, babysitting for Peter Robyn and Hilary
and being employed by Russell to wind elements for his business.I am on holiday at present in Nevada, so I am unable to come to the funeral or view the garden which I would have loved to do.
Russell was always hospitable genuine and kind to me always watching out for ways he could support me as a student which I appreciated.
I trust that when the deep sadness fades you will all remember and treasure your very special memories too.
Kind thoughts from afar Christine Nicoll (nee Clarke) who formerly lived on corner of Westminster Street & Mayfield Ave.
