Russell passed peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 76 years. Treasured eldest son of the late Juanita and Eric (Pat) Burmester, Loved father of Karl and Corey, adored Grandfather of Samantha and Brooke, and Great-Grandfather of Poppy. Beloved eldest brother of Phillip and the late Gary, and uncle of Nikki, Jack, Darren, Shane, and the late Paul. Dearest of friends to Sandra. Messages may be addressed to the Burmester family, C/- PO Box 1245, Christchurch 8140. In accordance with Russell's wishes, a private cremation has been held.
