My condolences to the Purdon family on the passing of Roy. He was a wonderful man that I felt privileged to have met and have dealings with. Roy always had time to sit and talk and offer some wise words. I will never forget Roy's handshake!

May there be lots of laughter, tears and love as you all prepare to celebrate the life of a true trotting legend.Lots will be on hand to salute you `Uncle Roy´ as you were known to me. We were chatting last night about the carpet being rolled up in the old house on Bond Road by last owners and discovering Roy Purdon Te Awamutu written on the back!
Condolences to you all The memories will last forever
