We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of Roy, on December 5, 2022, aged 87 years.
"The light has gone out"
Adored husband of the late Hilda; cherished father and father-in-law of Kim and Jon, and Trudy and Darren; treasured grandad of Jack, Connie, Thomas, William, James, and Isabelle. A Celebration of Roy's life will be held in our AvonPark Chapel, cnr of Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, on Friday, December 9, at 2.30pm.

I met Roy whilst cycling around NZ in 1979, visiting from the USA. I stayed at your house a couple days and road a club race. I just thought about Roy after dozens of years because I was in touch with a childhood friend who ended up a builder in Christchurch. Sorry for your loss.

Very sad to hear of Roy's passing. Have very fond memories of both Roy and Hilda from our time living in Christchurch 1964 to 1968. we always kept in touch over the years. Sincere condolences to the families. Dennis and family.
