Ross PICKERING Obituary

PICKERING, Ross:
On March 3, 2016,
at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village, aged 74 years, dearly loved husband of Val; father of Shaun, and Leigh; loved Grandpa of Liam; brother and brother-in-law of Beverley and Peter Ballinger; Lew and Marilyn Austin, Claire Ronan, and Steve and Heather Austin. Special thanks to Maree and the staff at Anthony Wilding, and to Heather Brunton of Motor Neurone Disease. Messages to PO Box 37067, Halswell, Christchurch. In lieu of flowers, donations to Motor Neurone Disease would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Ross will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday, March 8, at 2.00pm.

We were so sorry to hear of Ross's passing.

To Val and Family. We are deeply saddened at the loss of Ross. He bought laughter and fond memories to all those whose lives he touched. We will remember our friend Charter Member Lion Ross for the 38 plus years he Served our community in our Halswell & District Lions Club, and as a great man. We will miss him and his humour.
