Ross MCKERCHAR Obituary
McKERCHAR, Ross Brydon:Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 9, 2021, after a hard fought and determined battle the final hammer has fallen; aged 60 years. Dearly loved husband of Janice and best mate and proud father of Ben and Scott along with their partners, Josie and Paige. Brother of Peter, loved Uncle of Bayley and Cameron and special friend of Debs. Ross enjoyed a strong friendship and respect of so many in all aspects of his life. Sincere thanks to Dr Johnson of Southland Hospital for his care and all other medical professionals that supported Ross over the past two years. A service to celebrate Ross' life will be held in the ILT Stadium Southland, Glengarry, Invercargill, at 12.00noon on Thursday, May 13, followed by an interment at East Winton Cemetery. I was saddened to learn of Ross's passing. A wonderful person, whom I admired. One memory of Ross, is when he skipped our winning team at the prestigious Hokonui Two Day Fours in 1997, with Paul Kincaid and the late Pete McGifford.
