Ross died peacefully on November 2, 2024 after a short illness, surrounded by family with his favourite song Daydream Believer on repeat. Loyal, supportive, loving, intelligent, and funny, he will be sorely missed by many. Beloved father of Julia (the Boo), Jocelyn (the Possum) and Geraldine (SLPW), "sort of partner" to Jacquie, loved brother of Judith and Peter, Adrienne and Bob, favourite ex-husband of Meredith, best friend to Howard, valued colleague of the tram family, and dedicated patron of many fine establishments. Thank you to the stranger on Memorial Ave who carried out CPR - because of you we got to say goodbye. A private ceremony was held on November 8 to farewell him, and a celebration of his life will be held on Monday, November 11 at the Elmwood Tavern, 1 Normans Road, Strowan at 2.00pm.
