Rosina CALDANA Obituary

Passed away peacefully at her home, Granger House, on October 22, 2024, in her 97th year. Deeply loved wife of the late Guiseppe (Joe), treasured and dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Ann and Chris Howard, Gilda and Kevin McGirr, Sandra, Robert and Linda, and Linda (deceased) and Dutchy Van Looy, cherished Nana of Stacey and Lance, Melanie and Brian, and Alana; Candace and Joost, and Stuart and Ailbhe; Daniel, and Sarah and Gradon; William and Caitlyn, Matthew and Nicole, and Krystal and Michael; Joseph, Annalisa and Brandon, late baby Laura, and George; special Great-Nana of 16, loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Pat Rubbo, and Mary and the late Allan Kennedy, a loved member of the Caldana family, and a wonderful aunty, cousin and friend. Messages to 17 Stanton Crescent, Greymouth 7805. A Funeral Mass for Rosina will be celebrated in St Patrick's Catholic Church, High Street, Greymouth on Friday at 11.00am. Rosina will the be laid to rest with Joe at the Karoro Lawn Cemetery.

Sincere sympathy, loving thoughts and prayers as you mourn and farewell your beautiful Rosina ! She was a truly beautiful and kind person and a wonderful neighbour to my late parents Pat and Molly O'Sullivan. I treasured the times when I spoke and visited her at her home and when she was in care.Sadly that was many years ago now. We had wonderful conversations and I remember Rosie with great love.
