Please accept all my condolences for the sudden death of Rosie - the news only made it to me very recently. I knew her for several years when she and Carl were in Aberdeen with a young family. Rosie was always friendly laughing and vivacious. I remember her with their three young children camping out on the west coast of Scotland - nothing seemed to phase her what with midges, rain and children eating brown pellets; always smiling and laughing. I lost touch with her and Carl when we moved to Malaysia and they to Calagary, but always will remember her.

Rosie and Carl and family rented the house next door to me on 9th. St. before buying a home. She was always friendly and cheerful and a wonderful neighbor. When I lost my wife after a long illness Rosie always remembered and brought me a comforting meal or snack on the anniversary of Pat´s death. I hope that her family will have many fond memories as they grieve this all too soon passing of a warm and caring individual.

Rosie was one of my happiest, sweetest, most enthusiastic yoga students in our Rosedale class. Always positive and very warm, I´ll always remember Rosie´s kindness and her great hugs.

Rosie had many friends in Canada. She had her mountain, athletic friends, neighbours and our group of moms she named "The Rosedale Tarts". She spearheaded most things, walking, birthdays, cocktail hours and coffee mornings. She made everything fun and would never let you get away with not celebrating your birthday. She made everyone feel special. But family came first. She loved her family. I´ve heard lots of stories about her family in New Zealand. About how she shared a room with her sisters and funny things her Mom would say. She was one in a million and I´m going to miss her popping in and texting me to meet her on the hill for a walk. She will leave a huge hole in our lives. I was so lucky to have her as a friend.
