YOUNG, Rose Agnes Muriel
(nee Severinsen):
In her 80th year, died peacefully after a long illness on March 19, 2021, at St Allisa Rest Home, Christchurch, surrounded by her family that loved and cherished her deeply. Wife to the late Robert Louis Young. You are the loving non-judgemental glue to our family. We only hope to live up to your example and make you proud. Much loved Mum, Nan, great-Nan and great-great-Nan to Donna, Shane, Kylie, Jak, Chrizanne, Tenequa, Taylor, Brooklyn, Melissa, Rex, Rutherford, Smith, Shanequa, Vincente, Jasper, Scarlet, Kahlil, Meihana, Renee, Angus, Manaaki, Reana, Tu Kaha, Gussy, Aimee, Angie, Jay, Rory, Rye. Sister to Peter, Gail, Gwen, Douglas, Rex. Cherished Aunty to many nieces and nephews. Surrogate mum and loyal friend to many. Special thanks and appreciation to the staff of St Allisa Rest Home for their excellent standard of care and respect that they showed Rose and the family during this time. Prior to the service, you are welcome to visit Rose and the family anytime over the next couple of days, 2/21 Barrie Street, Addington. Service: Wednesday, March 24, 1.30pm, Halswell Rugby League Rooms. Special request: Rose lived a bold colourful life and we will celebrate her life with colour, joy and happy times. Please come celebrate with us by wearing colour. The service is also available by video link.
