Rose COLLINS Obituary
On May 3, 2023, most peacefully at home. Beloved wife of Pete, mother of Isobel and Niall, daughter of David and Siobhan, sister of Kate and Annie. Much loved and missed by her friends and whanau. Rose is resting at 19 Cresswell Ave, Governors Bay, from today. Visitors welcome to use the small gate to come and say goodbye. A Funeral Service will be held at The Old Woolshed, Loudon Farm, 345 Charteris Bay Road, Teddington, on Monday, May 8, at 11.00am. Private burial to follow at St Cuthberts Church-yard. Heartfelt thanks from the family to Dr Clare Botha-Reid, Dr Dean Harris and Ruth Geering, and the oncology team at Christchurch Hospital.

So sorry to have only seen this just now. We enjoyed meeting Rose through Liffey and have lovely memories from that time. Our deepest sympathies to all your whanau from the Shepherds in Inglewood

I met Rose during one of Lynne Davidson's poetry workshops held online. I always admired her poise and grace in the face of her illness. She was an incredible poet and I wasn't surpised when she won the competition. I am sad she is gone but I am so pleased she got to see her manuscript published before she passed. I will treasure my copy of her book always. My heart goes out to her family and friends for the loss of such a lovely person.

The Director and staff of the Office of Human Rights Proceedings were profoundly saddened and sorry to hear of Rose's passing. We extend our heart-felt sympathy to Pete, Isobel, Niall and the rest of the family. We were incredibly lucky to have worked alongside such a talented, compassionate lawyer. Rest in peace Rose.
