WHITSON-SCOTT, Rosalie:
Passed away suddenly on December 27, 2022 at Cashmere View Care Home, Christchurch, aged 85 years. Mother of David (Canada) and Julie-Anne (NZ), mother-in-law of Yvette and Grandmother of Kaiya and Benjamin. Former wife of the late James Walter Steele Whitson and the late Barry Scott. An active member of 'Handmade', 'Post Polio Syndrome Group Chch', 'Spinners and Weavers Guild'. A memorial service to celebrate Rose's life, will be held at Abberley Park Hall, 15 Abberley Crescent St Albans, Christchurch, on Friday January 6 at 2.00pm. Donations accepted for SPCA and Post Polio Support Group, Chch.
'A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet'.

Aunty Rosalie, your smile will never fade, nor your laughter. Your super huge heart and never ending faith in people, even when down. I will always remember the times we shared, watching "love connection",sharing the mysteries of the world, and the love of all our animal friends and family. At times I added more than a few grey hairs I know, but will always be grateful for you letting me be me, even for just a little while. Heaven has gained another angel and I know Mum will be so happy to have you there. Love you always, Nikki Petrie.
