Gillian ROBERTSON Obituary

Late of Wadestown. Passed peacefully on Tuesday 29th April 2025, at Bupa Crofton Downs Retirement Village, aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Christopher. Daughter of Ernest & Barbara Jones. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Eleanor & Kosta, and Andrew & Rebecca. Devoted grandmother of Lachlan & Ilaria, and Isabella & Charlie. Loved and respected by her wider family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Bupa Crofton Downs Retirement Village for their care and support of Gillian. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington City Mission would be appreciated and may be made online at: www.wellingtoncitymission.org.nz/donate-now. Messages to the Robertson family may be posted C/- PO Box 14336, Kilbirnie 6241 or left in Gillian's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz. Gillian´s dedication to supporting young people to thrive in life was second to none. A lovely, kind hearted, warm and loving person who did everything she could to help others have great lives. Gillian was a lovely friend and great supporter of me in Rotary and I enjoyed every minute of my time with her. Gillian (and Christopher´s) service above self was absolutely outstanding and inspiring. Sending my love and sincere condolences to Gillian´s family and friends.
