Ronald WILTON Obituary
WILTON, Ronald Earl (Ron) QSO, JP of Paraparaumu, formerly of Christchurch - Passed away peacefully at Kenepuru Hospital on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Aged 90 years. Very dearly beloved husband of the late Gwen for 61 years, until her death in 2010. Loved father of David (Washington, DC). Thanks to District Nurses and to Kenepuru Hospital staff for their care over the period of Ron's recent illness. His Funeral service will be held at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9–11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Thursday, March 27, at 10.30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations for Mary Potter Hospice, PO Box 7442, Newtown, Wellington 6242, would be appreciated and may be left at the service. David, my condolences at this sad time. I remember your father as one of life's true gentlemen, a man who never lost sense of his values but who could do it all with an ever present humour. I am now left to ponder what he may have made of the knowledge that his perpetual loss of lemons from Gleneagles Tce was no Divine Act...

My deepest condolences David. I used to work for your wonderful father in the 1970's at the Reserve Bank in Ch-ch. He was a lovely, lovely man. All the best, Judy Simon. (now Marshall and living in Sydney).
