Farewell to a true legend of speedway. Memories of seeing Ronnie race at Aranui, Templeton and on the wall of death. He even obliged a few times to sign programmes etc. There will never be another natural like him.

So glad we got to chat again back in February, R.I.P Ronnie you will be sadly missed by all your family and the Speedway world as well .

I first saw Ronnie as a 3 year old at Wimbledon Speedway, London. From then on he was always my hero. In the 1990s I met Ronnie socially and even spent an evening drinking dark ales and eating blue vein cheese at his home. A real gentleman and a wonderful team player. Pasrt of my life has gone knowing he is no longer with us.

Another great KAURI has fallen R.I.P,Ronnie,leading by example, helping others,a real gentleman to work for ,ronnie moore motors from Aranui speedway days world titles yes we all followed your thrills and spills of your chosen career,returning to N.Z.,Moore park,it was your way of giving others the chance to follow there dreams of following the hero's they saw rise to world champions

Dear Ronnie if it hadn't been for you and your dedication to the sport alot of us as teenagers would never have achieved in our sport what we managed to achieve, not only were you a good coach but a good person, always giving always the first to help, it was an honour to know you and you will be missed, rest in peace.

A great rider and friendly man,i used to go to his house in the late 60 s,and he even drove me to West Ham which was one of his favourite tracks for a wimbledon meeting,i also went to his house in merton park and used to watch him fix his bikes in his garage.A sad day when he left Wimbledon to go home to n.z. I even visited Ronnie at his house when i was in N.Z.IN 2005 with my wife and took more photos,a generally nice man and my hero,who will be missed by many

Many years ago Ronnie was brave enough to let me drive the brand-new car he'd just brought back from England, before I even had my license. He taught Val, Thea, Carol and I all the latest dances. He was fun, thoughtful and the idol of every teen-aged girl. I haven't seen Ronnie for a long time, but he is the type of person you never forget. An "Aranui speedway" friend of my late father, Noel Barritt,. Ronnie spent many hours with Dad and others fixing the bikes in our old shed. Hope you catch up with him again and race around Heaven on the bikes. Di Barritt
