Worshipful brother John Knight past master of Lodge of Unanimity Sumner No 3, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on January 16, 2026, aged 95 years. Much loved father of Keith, Colin, Jennifer and Tyler. Adored granddad of Amber, Oliver, Brooke and Rio. Great-granddad to Tadhg. A big brother to his sister Vera. Dearly loved son of the late Frances and John Knight. A dancer, a walker, and a very community minded man who touched many peoples lives. In accordance with Dad's wishes, a private cremation was held and his ashes will later be spread on the hills of Sumner which he passionately called his home.
