Ronald BROOKING Obituary

BROOKING, Ronald Lester (Ron) - Passed away peacefully on April 5, 2013, at his home, two weeks away from his 65th birthday. Dearly loved husband of Christine for 43 years, much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Karleen and Aaron (Western Australia), and Janna and Nick (Rangiora), and treasured Poppa of Harrison, Isabella, Harley, Ruby, and Peyton. Loved older brother of Gary (Auckland). Ron touched so many lives in so many ways, and will be sadly missed. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Ron Brooking, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Donations to St George's Cancer Care Centre would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Service to celebrate
Ron's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Friday, April 12, at 10.30 a.m., private cremation thereafter.

My sincere condolences to Christine and family. Ron was simply the most professional and intuitive accountant I ever had the pleasure of working for, you taught me so much.
I will remember my days at Craig Stephenson & Partners, Kirk Barclay , Spicer & Oppenheim and BDO with Ron with great fondness.
