Ronald ALEXANDER Obituary

On June 10, 2025, unexpectedly at home in Christchurch (formerly of Wanganui), in his 92nd year. Loved husband of Elaine for 70 years and loved youngest son of the late Charles and Dora. Friend to many in the railway and steam fraternity. A private family service has been held. Messages to the family of the late Ron Alexander, C/- PO Box 26051 North Avon, Christchurch 8148.

Our condolences to you Elaine on the unexpected passing of Ron. So sad to hear this.
You were our very first neighbours as a married couple and we were extremely fond of you both. We even named our youngest son Alexander so that will always keep you both close at heart.

I remember Ron from the Oncology Department at Christchurch Hospital. His wife Elaine as well. My condolences go out to you and family. He was a lov
ely gentlemen and always had a smile and joke to tell the nurses. May he rest in peace.
