I was involved with Roger for some years around admin of Suburban cricket. He had an infectious enthusiasm, positivity and was always clear thinking. He was also very decisive, and put lots of behind-the-scenes energy into the then CSCA cricket administration. My sympathies go to his family.

Dear Janine and family and Nigel and family.
Nicole and I are so sorry for your loss. The illness was such a shock but as ever Roger approached it with the same positive attitude he applied to everything else. His twinkle in the eye was a little dimmed but his sense of humour and duty towards his beloved HCC still beat strong within him. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A bright shining light has dimmed, but has left its impression everywhere. We are so sorry we cannot be there on Thursday to share all the memories. We all have so many and they will endue. All the very best, David and Nicole.
