We are so sorry to discover Roger has died.
We enjoyed his friendship with Ian; his sense of humour and shared passion for family, sport and horticultural produce. His genuine laughter & comfortable chat is much missed.

To Janine and family.I´m absolutely devastated to hear the news, on the sad passing of my good friend Roger.Working with Roger in the good years at Countdown was an absolute blast. We went together to America in 1993 on a 3 week supermarket tour, and his intelligence and humour made the trip even more special.Please accept my deepest sympathy.He will be missed by all. We are so deeply sorry and shocked to learn of your tragic loss of Roger. He was a man who always fun to be around and was large as life. He will be missed by the many who knew him. Our deepest sympathy is with you all.

I was involved with Roger for some years around admin of Suburban cricket. He had an infectious enthusiasm, positivity and was always clear thinking. He was also very decisive, and put lots of behind-the-scenes energy into the then CSCA cricket administration. My sympathies go to his family.

To Janine and family, we send our loving thoughts to you all at this very sad time. Roger was a person who we respected and we knew we could have a good laugh with. His dedication to the produce industry was immense, he was very loyal to MG's, growers and everyone within the supply chain. We will truly will miss him.

Rog, I will always remember your passion and dedication to Heathcote Cricket club in the 70s and 80s while I played. It's was great times for us young guns of HCC.

Roger was a legendary character in the produce industry, well loved by growers and a name that was always mentioned in the echelon of the industry. What a wonderful legacy he has left and the industry has truly been enriched from Roger's presence and will be dearly missed. Our thoughts are with Rogers dearest friends and family members at this time.

I trained Roger at Les Mills in Ferrymead for a couple of years. Roger always approached his training sessions with enthusiasm and passion. I'll always remember his fun personality and positive approach to life. RIP Roger.

Dear Janine and family and Nigel and family.
Nicole and I are so sorry for your loss. The illness was such a shock but as ever Roger approached it with the same positive attitude he applied to everything else. His twinkle in the eye was a little dimmed but his sense of humour and duty towards his beloved HCC still beat strong within him. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A bright shining light has dimmed, but has left its impression everywhere. We are so sorry we cannot be there on Thursday to share all the memories. We all have so many and they will endue.
