Roger DENNIS Obituary
On August 7, 2022. It is with sadness and fond memories, that Shirley and the family of Roger (87 years), wish to announce his passing and promotion to eternal life with our Lord Jesus. The Funeral Service for Roger will be held at The Darfield Recreation Centre on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11.30am, followed by burial at The Horoata Public Cemetery. Messages for Roger's family may be posted to the Dennis Family, C/- PO Box 31300, Ilam, Christchurch 8444.

We have many memories of Roger - his wonderful singing voice, his welcoming smile and words of wisdom, his enthusiasm about rocks and nature, we could go on and on. We often mention him to our daughter. We are so grateful that we had the privilege to know him. Thinking of you and wishing we were nearer at this time.

We were sad to hear of your sudden loss, I have many fond memories of Uncle Roger from over the years especially around the farm, we trust there will be an element of celebration around a life well lived, a man well loved, and a faith well known.

Thinking and praying for you all I was wondering what memory to share of RP there are so many but my favourite that comes to mind is At Greendale Baptist Church singing Amazing grace how can it be and the verse my chains fell off my heart was free RP absolutely pelting it out leading the rest of us he really did have a lovely voice Love to you all as you grieve but also as you celebrate a life well lived
