To Richard and. Nicola, we were saddened to hear the news of your fathers passing. We were both work colleagues of Roger and got to know him not only as a colleague but as a true gentleman. He spoke so often and proudly of you both that we felt as though we know you well though we have never met. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Alan and Fiona Barry

We send our deepest sympathies to all members of Roger's family.
We well remember the times we enjoyed together at The Hague and we still have our old passports in which Vice Consul RGM Brown left his marks.

Our thoughts are with you Richard & Nicki over the loss of your Dad. Our family has many fond memories of Roger (& Diana) from our days in Tonga. They were great friends, not only to Moira & John; but also the Forde "gang". Nothing was ever a bother. Roger besides being a wonderful ambassador for NZ, was always a gentleman. He will be sorely missed.
