Rodney HENDERSON Obituary
Peacefully at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village; aged 80 years. Son of the late Sybil and Andrew Henderson, loved brother of the late Warren and Brent, loved brother-in-law of Jenene, Beverly, Steven, Dawn, and the late Rosalie and Richard, dearly loved husband of the late Linda, much loved father of Ian and Nathan, beloved grandfather of Aysha, Piper and Willow, friend of Danielle and Leena, loved uncle of Carmen, Wade, Richard, Mark, Daniel, Ben, Matthew, Joe, Emma, Aiyana and Josephine. Messages may be addressed to the Henderson family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A funeral service to celebrate Rodney's life will be held in the Harewood Chapel, Wilkinsons Road, Harewood, on Monday, August 25, at 1.00pm.

Condolences to Rodney's family and friends. I worked with Rodney at LPC he was a great guy, we shared lots of laughs also driving the crane as workmates. Rodney had a few nicknames at port, most people there have a few. You will be missed Rodders. Rest in peace mate.

I knew Rodney as a neighbour in Tankerville Road where we often solved the problems of the world chatting in the street then we were both residents at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village where I visited him from time to time. We ar currently in the North Island Ian so send our sincere thoughts to you and your family. Rest in peace Rodney
