Ashes was a good friend of mine in our uni days. Always a smile, a joke, a laugh or a good conversation. I'm happy we reconnected, if only remotely and rekindled the friendship before she decided to take the long rest. Love you babe, your smile lives in my mind and my heart. Arohanui to Niamh and her close friends and family.

I still remember my first meeting with Robyn at Ara. She had this gorgeous true smile and long raven black hair and a sense of mischief about her. She also turned out to be one of the best lab assistants I ever had the privilege of working with. I can still recall her fascination with the small test bottle we used call bijoux and how she "loved" them, they were so cute, until one day she had to clean a heap of them and the love quickly vanished. She also inspired me to make my own temperature blanket after seeing hers, a yearlong feat that I have just completed. I will think of her as I wrap myself in it.

Robyn was such a joy to work with, always so positive and a 'real get-stuff-done' kind of lady. She will definitely have angels escorting her. Rest in peace Robyn.

I had only a brief moment with Robyn at Toitu as a new staff member. However, I watched her present and conduct training for newcomers like me in the company. Deep down, I knew she was kind-hearted and had a great soul. Thank you, God, for the brief meaningful moments.
