SMITH, Robin Macdonald:
Quietly slipped away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Christchurch Public Hospital, aged 88 years. Dearest husband and much loved and admired friend of Audrey. Dearly loved son of Tom and Hilda (both deceased). Cherished and cared for younger brother of Pam, and Anthea (both deceased). Loved neighbour, friend, travel companion and valued brother-in-law of Bud (deceased) and Aud; loved and admired uncle of Vicki, and Lindsay, and friend of Dinah. Caring brother-in-law of Jean. Exceptional Chartered Accountant/CEO. Avid reader over a wide range of subjects. Life long interest in physical exercise, motorcycle/Jaguar car enthusiast. Long time supporter of various human/animal welfare organisations. Remarkable cook/organiser of festivities at his beach retreat, his "little piece of paradise". Extensive traveller overseas. Very sadly missed. Grateful thanks to the nursing staff/carers at Windsorcare for their loving care and attention over the past year. Messages to the Smith family, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. Private cremation has been held.

On Friday, July 22, 2022, dearly loved brother of the late Pamela Wilson, and the late Anthea Rose. Loved and fondly remembered by their children; Gavin, Claire (dec), Karen, Gillian, and Stuart, their partners and families.
He will be missed.
