I remember one of the family get together in Sydney. I loved his jovial disposition and friendly banter with Alex and other family members. I always had great respect for a lovely man with an incredible intellect. RIP cuz in law.

To the family my deep condolences.
We remember those teachers and mentors who have impacted us and made us better in some way, no matter how long ago that might have been.
I remember him for his knowledge, sense of humour, and love for teaching.
A true doctor.
RIP

When I worked in Anatompical Pathology at Christchurch Hospital in the 90s, Robin was a true friend. He was a gentle man and had an infectious sense of humour. I also had lunch at his place a few times, and looked nafter his lorikeets a couple of thimes when the family went away. Since moving back to Australia, he was often in my thoughts. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
