On July 23, 2023, at Christchurch Hospital, after a courageous Battle. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Mele, Daniel and Jordan, and Makayla. Much loved grandad of Brian, Bjorn, Nathaniel, Charlie, and Farran. Loved son of the late Woody and Carole Barnes. Beloved brother of Bruce and Kathy, and dear friend of Barbara. Messages to the family of the late Robin Barnes, c/- PO Box 28154, Christchurch 8022. A service to celebrate Robin's life, will be held in the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, corner of Linwood Avenue and Keighleys Road, Tomorrow, Friday, July 28, at 2.00pm.

Very sad to hear of Robin passing. He was a great lad to grow up with way back when we were all apprentices and then he joined the Air Force.Back then the pubs shut at 6 and that was just as well. So sorry to hear of Robin´s passing. We have been neighbours for 10 years and he was a dear friend of my mum and dad who lived here for 10 years prior. A lovely man who delighted us with his Christmas lights every year. Rest in peace Robin.
