Robin ADAIR Obituary
Passed away peacefully on August 21, 2015, after an illness fought with courage and strength, aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Yvonne, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Karen and Tim, Christine, Brendan, Suzanne and Matthew, cherished Grandad of Emma, Thomas and Sophie Power, Luke Adair and Elizabeth, Alice, James and Charles Whitaker. The family would like to thank the staff of the haematology department, with a very special thanks to Viktoria and Dr Alistair Young for their respectful care of Robin at home. In lieu of flowers, donations for the Apostleship of the Sea may be left at the Cathedral. Messages to the Adair family may be sent c/- Lychgate Funerals, 306 Willis St, Wellington. A Requiem Mass to celebrate Robin's life will be held at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill St, Wellington on Thursday, August 27, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Makara Cemetery. Requiescat in pace.

I have only just become aware (22/12/15) that Robin passed away a few months back. Please accept my sincere condolences. I enjoyed working with him while I was MP for Hastings and subsequently when he moved to IRD Head Office. It was a shame that none of our proposals were successful. David Butcher WELLINGTON
