Died peacefully on May 29, 2022, aged 77 years. Loved wife of Jenny for 56 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Frith and Martyn, Miles and Sonya, Clem and Sheraby, and Alex and Amy. Much loved grandad of Willow, Bailey and Bella, Zita and Frank, and Clare. Great-grandad of Sol. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at Harewood Golf Club, 371 McLeans Island Road, Christchurch, on Wednesday, June 1, at 11.00am. Messages to the Wilkinson family, 27 Harry Ell Drive, Christchurch 8022.

I just learned of Bob's death. I had the pleasure of meeting Bob when I was 19 during a tour of Australia & New Zealand in 2008. He was gracious and a wonderful guide during the trip of a lifetime, he even invited us to his beautiful home to meet his amazing wife. Time went on and I returned home to the US, but I never forgot about him or my amazing time in those beautiful countries.
