Robert Athol (Bob):

Son of Les and Marge. Treasured husband and friend of Margaret (nee Boleyn), brother of Allan (dec) and Jan Harris. Much loved father of John (dec), and Megan. Loved father-in-law of Karen Stothart and Ken Allen. Proud and devoted grandfather (Bob, Bobba) of Alex, Claudia and Roberta Stothart and Jessie Allen. In lieu of flowers, donations to Project Tongariro (www.tongariro.org.nz) would be appreciated and may be left at the funeral. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Old Saint Paul's, Mulgrave Street, Thorndon, Wellington, on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

To have shared with Bob those wonderful and formative years that roll inevitably into teenage remain formost in an aging memory, yet never to be forgotten. Thanks Bob.

When I arrived in Wellington, 1960, to start my first job as a PE Advisor,Bob was like a big brother helping me to settle in. Later we became good friends working to establish the Wellington Gymnastic Association.
I am very sorry I can't attend Bob's service as I am supervising NCEA and have no one to take my place.
I will be with you in spirit Margaret.
