So sad to hear the passing of a very kind guy who was one of the best bosses I ever had after leaving school to start working at Customs Services Ltd. Lots of laughs and fun times at the Walker St and Carlyle St offices. Most memorable were the end of year xmas functions ..... they were always a highlight held over in Govenors Bay. RIP xx

Dearest Rob, what a wonderfully kind man you were. I have such fond memories of working for you all those years ago at Customs Services. Never a harsh word was spoken even when I crashed your car! You gave me loads of opportunities and always saw the good in everyone. A truly lovely man. Rest easy.

So sorry to have heard of Rob's passing. He was a true gentleman and so helpfully to myself in dealing with him at Customs Services. I will be ever thankfull in having dealings with Rob during my lifetime both socially and with my role working in the shipping industry. God bless Rob you will have touched many lives during your time. You will be sadly missed by all.

Hi mate. Long time no see. Your old flat mate from monks spur rd, Greg Day here. Flatting with you 3 summer lifeguards was a trial but being from north beach surf club i persevered!. I remember your smile and great humour also remember you blowing the taibeten horn outside at midnight after a few bevvies! I did not know you lived in mapua. I was nearly your neibour in upper moutere. Give them the big hockey stick up above. Your old flat mate Greg
