24.10.1943 - 1.9.2023 Passed away peacefully at Terrace View Retirement Village, Ashburton, on September 1, 2023. Loved father and grandfather of Steven and Kate, Hunter, and William; Michelle, Maycee, and Bradley Vercoe. Loved son of the late Hugh and Alice Scott. Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Alf, and Jennifer Scott, the late Alice and Donald Bain, Bruce and Maureen Scott, Heather and Graham McEvoy, Susan and Keith Ross, and treasured Uncle Bob of all his nieces and nephews. 'Te Aroha Mure Ore'. Special thanks to Ward 1, Ashburton Hospital, Terrace View, and Dr Penny Holdaway for their exceptional care of Robbie. Messages to Robert's family, PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. At Robbie's request a private service has been held.

Bob was a special person. I met him in whitecliffs over 20 years ago. He was kind and funny,talented and sincere. I will miss him but know he will be at peace now that he is with his special soul mate Pamela. Rest In Peace my friend

I am fortunate and blessed to know Bob for my whole life. In the past few years I've learned a lot more about him, through his wonderful biography Kids from the Camp. He has left a beautiful legacy and I'm grateful for all the memories.
