Robert RAMUSSEN Obituary
Robert James (Bob):
On March 28, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital following a short illness, with family by his side, aged 85 years. Much loved husband and companion of the late Margaret. Much loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Chrissie, Grant and Janine, Karen and Craig, and the late Megan, and Brent. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather of Joshua, Matthew, Marcus, Shaun, Brittany, Ryan, Brady, Cory and Bear. Thank you to all the staff at Christchurch hospital and St Albans Medical Centre who provided kind and caring treatment and support to Robert, and thank you to all of his wonderful friends and neighbours who assisted him to live alone in recent years. Messages for the Rasmussen family may be sent to PO Box 26112, Christchurch, 8148. In keeping with Bob's wishes a private family gathering and cremation has been held.

Dear Rasmussen family, we offer our condolences on the passing of Bob. We have been his neighbours for years and Bob would pop over the road and enjoy friendly chats with those of us in the office at Rutland Street Church. He always loved when we put some chocolates in his letterbox at Christmas or as a thank you for being a great neighbour. We are sad to hear he won't be around for chats in the future. Something he recently remarked on was not being able to see the cross with our recent renovations! He loved the singing when we combined with the Samoan church and commented on their passion and heart. We hope these musings will bring you some joy as you grieve this loss.
