Robert PURTON Obituary

It is with much love that we inform you that on August 13, 2023, Bob passed away after a stubborn fight with cancer. He was the loving husband of Lovie, loved and devoted Dad of Wayne and Vince; and loved Grandad of Orion and Apii. A loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Messages to the Purton family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held in the Ilam seventh Day Adventist Church, 26 Ilam Road, Ilam, on Wednesday, August 23 at 10.00am, followed by interment at the Belfast Cemetery.

Going to be a lonely pathway to walk without Bob. Today's funeral was quite an experience to say the least where a woman after talking collapsed, cpr administered ambo called and stretchers out to ambo for hospital one very lucky lady.

Thkyou Bob for being a caring friend. We saw you go backwards in the latter times but your Spirit never changed and your comments on where you were going after passing this life. Our conversations are as if they were yesterday. Every Blessings on the other side mate. RIP.
