Peacefully at Nazareth House, Christchurch. Beloved husband of Maureen, adored father and father-in-law of Mark and Margaret (Wellington), Sue (Christchurch), Frances (UK), Mary Jane (Brisbane), and John and Sue (Christchurch). Loving grandfather of Michael, Christopher, Sophie, Rebecca and Nicholas, and a loving great-grandfather. Messages to the Purdie family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A Requiem Mass for Bob will be celebrated at the Carmelite Monastery Chapel, 52 Halswell Road, Hoon Hay, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 10.00am, followed by burial at the Avonhead Park Cemetery, Hawthornden Road. Vigil at the Carmelite Monastery Chapel, This Day (Wednesday), at 7.00pm.
