On August 11, 2020, in his 108th year, peacefully at home with his family in Te Kauwhata. PLEASE NOTE in light of the recent announcements regarding gathering restrictions the family have decided to hold a private family farewell and burial, which will be followed by a memorial service at a later date to be advised. All communications to the Moorfield Family, C/- P O Box 147, Huntly 3740.

Our thoughts and sympathy are with the whole Moorfield family with the passing of Bob. We had the privilege of meeting him when he came down to Christchurch to visit his mother's grave about 10 years ago, what a wonderful man.

It was sad to hear that Bob had passed away, but what a wonderful life he had. Neil and I gave such fond memories of him, as we said the other day, especially the one of him on his journey to to Turangi and actually passing him on the road road, not knowing anything about it at the time. Farewell to my "uncle" Bob. He was a great friend to my mum and dad, Margaret and Bill Gibson, and we had a few good conversations over the years. What a great life he lived and what an inspirational man.
