Robert GILLING Obituary

GILLING, Robert Nelson - Passed away peacefully at Redwood Rest Home, Rotorua, on Friday, July 4, 2014, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret. Much loved father and father-in-law of David and Jocelyn, Naomi and James, Jonathan and Tania, Matthew and Janine, and Peter and Diane, and Kerry. Loved grandad of all his grandchildren.

A private service for Robert was held at the Rotorua Methodist Church.

It is with fond memories I recall those days when Robert was one of my respected leaders in the Boy's Rally at Waltham, Christchurch, then later as we both tutored at CPIT.
Love and sympathies to family members and shared hope in the future God has planned for Robert and all who through faith belong to Jesus our Lord.

Uncle Robert was a lovely Christian gentleman and friend. He has kept in contact with Graeme over the years. Graeme tried to visit Robert a few weeks ago while in Rotorua but sadly we didn't know he was in hospital. Robert rang to tell us but Graeme was home by then. With our deepest sympathy and love from cousin Graeme and Denise
