Robert FOSTER Obituary

Tragically passed away as the result of a biking accident on Monday, December 15, 2025, on the Port Hills. Dearly loved husband of Christine (Chris), much loved Dad of Tim (Christchurch), and Caroline (Canada), adored father-in-law of Isabel, and cherished "Bob" to Samuel, Joshua, and Emilia. Adventurous, generous, and endlessly capable, Bob was a gifted athlete, passionate golfer, successful businessman, and mentor to many. One of five siblings, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and unforgettable stories.

Messages for the Foster family may be sent to 58 Coleridge Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023. A private farewell has been held. A Memorial Celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Tai Tapu Community Centre, 722 Old Tai Tapu Road (within Rhodes Park), Tai Tapu on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 1.00pm.

Condolences to you Chrissy and family.
A great man.
Will always remember having to go into Lake Alexandrina after Bob and I had been skiing at Tekapo. He had to find you.
