Robert Bruce (Bruce):
On April 9, 2021, at Diana Isaac, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband and best friend of Gwenda for 52 years. Dearly loved dad of Grant and Jody, and Tracey and Simon, adored 'Pop' of Sam, and Amie, and best mate of his four-legged friend Lily. Heartfelt thanks to Gordon, Tracey, Adrienne, and the staff at Diana Isaac for their special care of Bruce. Thank you also to Tim at Merivale Retirement Village for the many outings they went on together. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Bruce Coombes, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to BrainTree Wellness Centre would be appreciated and may be made at the service, or directly online at www.canterburybraincollective.org. A Celebration of Bruce's life will be held in St Andrew's College Centennial Chapel, Normans Road, Strowan, This Day (Tuesday), at 1.00pm. Please allow plenty of time as parking can be difficult.

Such sad news of Bruce's passing. I will forever be beholding with Bruce passing on his skills and mentoring me over the years we worked together giving me the knowledge to take over the business as Bruce moved into retirement. I wish your retirement was longer and healthier. There is so little anyone can say to help but our thoughts are with Gwenda, Grant, Tracey and family. Rest peacefully Bruce. Lyn and Mike. Hepburn joinery.
